Angry ever had one of those days? I just burned the pillar by the winshield!!!

So yesterday I had one of those days.....I cruising on the GCP going to the mall and i have he music blasting with a song I haven't heard in a long time.....next thing you know I realized I was passing the exit I was supposed to take!! So I quickly throw the cigarrete out the window and get off the next exit. My hand hit the top of the inside of the door when I threw the cigarrete out and I noticed that although the I did throw the cigarrete out the window, the f%$^*&! lit part was stuck on my A pillar lit and burning a whole in it (Iknow I shouldnt be smoking in the car, especially after the leather install but I was really stressed out). Im so mad at myself....does anyone here have a gray a pillar (driver side) I was thinking of taking both off and doing some kind of reupholstering but I rather have stock there.....any advice?

Wahhh, boo frickin hoo, throwing lit cigarettes out of the window is a doucher move. Idiots who throw lit cigarettes out of a moving vehicle are why we lose acres of woodland and desert landscape in AZ and also in Cali... Should have used an old soda can or something. Hope you weren't looking for sympathy from anyone??

Throwing lit cigs out the window is also the reason I got into an accident on my bike. Sorry man, get an ashtray.

Never said you were personally responsible for a fire, however, your lack of concern over how ignorant it is to just throw cigarette butts or lit cigarettes out of the window AND litter along the roadway shows the world a lot about your thought process day to day. Why should anyone give a rats **** about your venting if your doing something illegal and you burn your interior? I'm not wound up, I laughed fairly hard at your misfortune.

@ OP, i know how you feel. I done the same thing. I'm sure you can find a scion at a junkyard and replace it that way.

@ Tealtoaster, you must be one of those drivers who complain about everyone for any little thing. Im sure your not the perfect driver in the world either.

@Roller_Toaster, how did the accident happen. I used to ride to im curious.

1. remove panel.. a pillars just kind of snug clip in
2. clean the surface
3. apply heavy duty spray glue
4.stretch fabric over the glued surface... don't be shy with the glue
5 dry
6 re install

I hate it when I try to throw my soda cans out the window and they scratch the fenders.

Ouch, and i bet the driver never stopped?

I had a teenager ride my rear, acting like he was going to hit me in my neighbor hood. I ended up seeing his car in the drive way, and had a nice talking to with his mom.

But yeah if you still ride, ride safe well best that you can.
