I just noticed, when I see other tC's, I usually dont think they look that good. Maybe its because I am used to mine being lowered, tinted, rims etc. But its like all the ones I see I dont like as much as mine... Maybe cause most of them are older people who have nothing done to them. So they dont look the same as mine, so it throws me off.

Anybody else feel the same? Like your tC is nicer? Or maybe just becase its "your" car. My girl said the same thing w/ her car, and she dont have anything done. She likes her car, but not other peoples. haha

 

 

Actually, I think all scion tC's are beautiful. That is what got me hooked on these cars in the first place.

 

So basically you are just stuck up since you lowered your tC? Yet, you will probably complain when you curb your front bumper or hit some dip in the road? Give me a break. All tC's are good unless you do some stupid mods like I have seen posted here (painted rims, painted steering wheels, etc.).

 

Its the "your car" syndrome. It just looks nice cause you know its yours. But what does older people have to do with them being stock... and what do you consider "older people"?

 

I'm sorry, but I have to ask this. Why is it that every post I see of yours is attacking someone or trying to start an argument with them? Are you trying to prove/compensate for something? I can understand a legitimate attack here and there if someone really says something to you... but I cant remember seeing any of your posts that arent bashing someone or trying to start some kind of argument... just thought I would ask. I know, you are going to give some rude reply and try to start something with me... so I will be waiting

 

Not saying im better than other tC's or on some high cloud cause its lowered etc. Like I said my girl thinks her car looks better than other peoples too. Its the thing like he said the "its my car" thing. And about being lowered necro, its just the stock trd springs, and you just have to know how to drive a lowered car. My other cars lowered 3" in the front and 3.5" in the back. Way lower than the tC, and its all about angles and approach. The tC sits high on the trd springs I think, no problems for me Dont want you getting the wrong idea, like i think im king ____ or something.

 

 

Actually I give good comments a lot. However, lately there have been some dumb things done to tC's and some useless threads being posted. You have noticed that a lot of threads have become locked recently due to newbies asking repeated questions or people posting stupid stuff? This was not a rude reply. CS is cool. :D

I completely agree also! I've also seen some ridiculous mods done to the tC that just completely rapes the look of it. Painting your rims as well as the thought of painting your steering wheel and engine are just ludicris. Why not just get an aftermarket upgrade to make it look clean, rather than take the cheap route and ruin the tC later down the line? The tC is beautiful whether it is bone stock, or upgraded to the fullest, but don't get all conceited about it.

 

Of course everyone is going to think their tC is better than the others because it's their car and they do what they want to it. Some things you prefer aren't necessarily a preference to someone else. I like my car the way it is, even though I get repeated comments from my boyfriend, my brother, and their friends to make it faster. I should start collecting money because I dont want to pay for it!!

 

To me it don't really matter if i think my car looks good. cause in someway it will always do on my perspective. i care more about how others see it. if people give you complements then you'll know your car looks good enuff =).

 

I tell myself my tC looks better than everyone I see and I say the same thing each time "my windows are darker" . I use to do the exact same thing with my ford escape. I guess it's just the fact that it's your car.

 

I just think all scions are cool! my tC is just part of all the good non-riced out there!

tC = very stylish and not agressive type, very pleasant!
xB = da box! very awesome look!
xA = cutie little car!

All scions come with great accessories and standard features.

 

good topic..i totally have a bias from my TC to most of the others i see on the road, but ive takin time and money to customize the look thats right for me... first, i got rid of those wheels...cuz i dont like them anymore since everyones got them... got me some 18' axis! big improvement..

 

every car i see has better paint and less swirls...but i guess i get what i paid for

 

Every time I see another TC owner and we make eye contact I think "gee, I wonder if he is on Scionlife..or I wonder if he or she will post that they spotted me" haha good thread

 

one thing i have noticed is, most people with scions, without scions, and scion dealers, must not have seen some of the simple, yet appearance changes I've done to my car...

They always ask about the grille, eyelids, did those rims come stock, etc...It gets TONS of looks, and nearly every time I stop at a gas station or something, people say something to me.

The guy at the office has one, and its completely stock, and one of the other salesmen said, isn't that the same car that Joe got? And I said yea. And he said wow. yours looks a lot different, like a bmw or something. haha

It makes me feel good... :-D
