i'm just looking to see how much everyone paid for their paint job. and I don't mean "hey i painted my hood black" or "i painted the top part of the car black". nah, i wanna know how much the WHOLE thing cost and how long it took? i know there's some people here with orange and green tc's. also, give us some more detailed information. tell what color you got, what finish you got (pearl, flake, metallic, etc.), and how many clearcoats you got.

 

it's gonna cost you about 5k minimum... people with the custom jobs can tell you it ain't cheap...

Have you tried going to a body shop and asking them? cause you can got to 5 places in the same town and get 5 different +prices

 

i got mine painted by my friend Ross@midnight garage. He charged me $1600 but that's an INCREDIBLE friend hookup price. He normall charges about 3k for a paint job. he takes off all the moldings, lights, etc.. etc.. basically anything that could be taken off was taken off.

 

yeah mine is worth around 5000.. but that's not how much i paid.. haha.. and mine is satin black..

I'd just be interested in getting my car re-painted in the original factory shade with paint that doesn't S U C K ! ! !

 

Insurance paid for mine Well most of it. I paid about 1,000 out of pocket. The total was about 5,500.
