Interesting. Why did you move to a Honda?
I wanted an Si, but they coiuldn't get one. I like the seating position much better than the tC, but the Scion is good.

Cars i have owned...

1st car = 1989 Pontiac Grand Am
My very first car, white with blue trim. It cost about $3,000 in 1996. I drove it for 2 years until the engine started knocking. At that time, i didn't anything about cars so i basically bought another car

2nd car = 1994 Dodge Interpid ES
I loved this car, Black with gun metal trim. Came with Alpine Infinity system, 3.5L engine. It was a great drive, until the day i had someone cross the centerline and hit me head on at about 20 mph... and just as he hit me, someone rear-ended me 2 sec later. After insurance "fixed" the car, other issues arose. I traded the car in.

3rd car = 2001 Dodge Neon SE

I bought this car in 2001, my first "Brand New" car... Infact they had it sitting in the show room and had to move other cars to get it out of the show room for purchase. As i started making more money in my jobs, it just so happen that i had just gotten my first CAD job, i started to spend money on it. I was kind of a ricer. Not too badly, but i did spend money on mods that were simply considered rice.

But i learned in the nick of time... I still do have the car, i gave it to my mom to replace her car, it only had about 40,000 miles on it at the time.

4th car = 2004 Dodge SRT-4

The SRT-4... I met a few friends while i had my neon, and i started getting into the online forum/club thing... And thats when i started to hear about the SRT-4 in late 2002. One of my friends ended up picking up a 2003 Silver SRT-4, and I absolutely loved the look of the car, the power was amazing, at that time, there were no mods out, but it was obvious that this was the market was going to take off. I started to save up, and 6 months or so later, i put down $15,000 on a 2004 SRT-4. I happen to come across a SRT club in Chicago. I quickly learned about the car and what i could do to it. Well, nearly $13,000 in mods later, from ported turbos and manifold, to 3" catless exhaust. From sways and coilovers, to tail lights and hid's, and much more in between. I definately was bitten by the moding bug. I even had a total of 5 sets of rims and tires at one time (2 sets of 18's, a set of autox rims and tires, set of DR's on rims, and snow tires on rims). I absolutely loved that car... I drove it like it was suppost to be driven. I probably had 100+ passes down the 1/4 mile, I autox'd at least 8 times, I drove from Chicago to New Orleans for '05 SRT Nationals. Drove to Topeka for the 06 SRT Nationals. There were at least 25 other road trips for events and hanging out with friends. In the 30 months that i had the car, i totaled nearly 70,000 miles. I was going to ride that car until it gave out, as i was confident that i could fix just about any issue that could hoble to car as i got pretty good at working on the car as i did most of the mods. I could fix just about anything... anything but a bad electrical problem that showed up one day out of no where. After that, i had no confidence with the car. It would die on me while i was driving it on the road. I simply could not trust the car.

So, in came...

5th and current car = 07 SW Scion tC
I don't have any pics of my car yet, as it is currently stock. That will change over this winter, I just order a Pioneer GPS Navi System. My mod plans include 18's/coilovers/hid's/audio upgrade/tail lights/tints/lip spoiler.

Out of all my cars, I like the tC a lot... its really comfortable, it feels well put together, it feels like its a car that is worth more then $16k. and the gas milage is amazing compared to the SRT-4. HOWEVER, the SRT-4 will probably forever be my favorite car.

'84 Nissan/Datsun Pulsar. I guess that was the "change over year" for Nissan. It had redundant badging all over it. And it had a nasty habit of losing parts along the road. Crap-tastic. Laid to rest after a dump truck cut me off on a rainy road.

"68 VW bug. LOVED IT!!!! Full custom. Two-toned green/cream paint. One piece glass. Shaved turned signals. Then I made the worst decesion ever. The transmission died and instead of rebuilding it I bought:

'71 MGB. Spent more time under the car than in it. Fun to drive though, when it ran. Plus that thing was so low to the ground that it got backed into more times than I can remember. No one could see it! Another bad tranny leads to another odd car:

'88 Merkur XR4ti. Part of me wishes I kept it. I still have delusions of buying another and converting it to look like a Sierra Cosworth, except maybe with a blown V-8. Sold it off and bought a

'87 Saab 900 for $300. All that was wrong with it was a bad clutch slave cylinder ( the previous owner thought it was a bad transmission - ha ha ). Used the left over money from the Merkur for a stereo and rent deposit for a new apartment!! Saab was a tank. My tC has more hatch rattles than my Saab did! Then I wanted a new car - the a/c in the Saab went and was $800 for the compressor, that's more than double what I bought the whole car for - and a good friend needed a car, so I gave her the Saab and bought the tC

'06 tC. Love it. It's like all of my old cars rolled up into one, well hopefully not the Pulsar. Customizable like the VW, giant sunroof almost like a convertible, unique looks like the Merkur (now I just need a turbo), and usability of the Saab. Will I trade it? Who knows? The idea of a hatchback '08 WRX is very tempting, as is that new Volvo C30 T-5 for some reason.
