my roomate has an evo MR that would walk your average turbo tc... those guys are driving ralliart lancers... BIG difference

It'd be nice, but those guys are judging purely on numbers.

I wouldnt consider that being scared.
looks like they're just showing a bit of respect to the tc as opposed to the boundless Scion sucks comments all over the auto forums.

nice to see some decent complimentary comments on our cars.

 

i agree, i was expecting to read countless bashings on the tC

 

maybe we should invite those guys to a scion meet. lets the mitus guys and scions start a beautiful friendship ..

 

It's an Evo forum, not a Honda forum. It's things like that thread that give reason to respect Evo owners.

even though thats the evo forums...those people are comparing a lancer ralliart turbo, which produces similar power on a mild turbo setup....the evo is a different beast completely...

that being said, there is still respect over there for tCs, and they make fun of honda just as much

I see it all the time. It's the SI/SRT-4/SS guys who think they have the fastest cars in the world, becuase they're slightyly faster than the non-sport version of their car. STI guys usually show respect, not WRX..they're tools and a half.

Haha, my friend who has an Evo 9 MR just said "oh the ralliart guys are poser noobs" .

 

My friend was trying to get the 9 MR for the longest but we live in the east coast (Connecticut).. The closest dealer that had a brand new one was all the way in the west coast (Oregon).

Went to the dealer the other day and saw the evo X GSR just pulling in.. they had it in silver. it was nice.. had a rockford fosgate headunit.. nice projectors/HIDs. trunk was a little small. They said the MR was on they way for around May but they were basically sold already.

Got another friend with an EVO X .. drove his 5spd.. it's fast but I think the tC has more potential.. idk why, maybe because I own one

 

The Evo X is a joke. Ugly as sin, overweight, terrible gearbox..Mistubishi slaughtered the Evo.

 

It's not ugly, but a 5-speed? Come on. Didn't the 9's have 6 speeds?

 

^^yes the evo 9 MR Edition has 6 speed but not the regular evos they are 5 speed.

 

Scions are beasties.

 

yea and the new MR is going to be 5spd auto with paddle shiftin..
