Everywhere i go i get asked theis question Is That A Hybrid Car? Omg Especially at work everyone knows its mine so they come inside and ask if its a hybrid and everyone one of them pronounces Scion a different way funny IMO lol

 

And here I thought I was the only one that gets asked that question!

and people always are surprised when i tell them the tC is a four banger.
It's like the celica, it only LOOKS fast

 

Yes ive heard all of those or the you get the people that just drive or walk by it and stare at it and iof they see you stop and ask you tons of questions about the car liek your the darn sales man but its all good its an attention getter especially the right kind of attetion the ladies of cours ethey just love this car

 

In a way, it is a hybrid car...Not a gas/electric hybrid, but one that combines style and value...

Whenever I go pay off my tickets everyone at the parking authority calls it a "SKY-on".

Nope not a hybrid, just a nice car with a name that imo people just cant pronounce or whne you say you have a Scion everyone automatically thinks you have a XB grrr

 

all new compact cars get questioned for hybrids nowadays...

 

Yah every time I tell some one I have a Scion tC they respond normaly like this:

You have NO idea man..... I have been asked while pumping my gas, and I told the guy yes, and that that was the pump to charge the battery, and he moved his car to a diff. pump. and I know other xB people have had the same experience, because I have read about them, at least yours looks like a normal sports coupe, ours looks like nothing so we get ALL the wierdos asking us questions. as a matter of fact, I was stopped at a stop sign and some lady scared the Shnikeys out of my by sticking her head in my back window and saying it was roomy, I didnt know who the heck she was! Oh well, I guess I love the attention.

 

My uncle actually asked me this weekend if it is... I was disappointed ... mostly b/c he has a nice Celica GTS.
