I got my 08 tC in sep. 30th 2007. I got it with door sills, fog lights, security, floor mats, and the lip kit.

I'm sure you know what the stock tC looks like with fogs and lip kit, so no pics (dont have any anyway hehe).

First mods was visual: the aluminum Figure grilles and neons (november 2007). I also got 35% tints but pics of that are everywhere later on.

In march 2008 came the intake

Sounded beautiful but the butt dyno said I needed an exhaust.

I got the OBX sport pedals and leather shift **** before when I had the neons, but got the custom metallic blue waterfall and other pieces after. Didn't get the steering wheel cover until september as a bday present. It was from my girl so it had to go on it and stay there whether I liked it or not LOL.

May 2008: Got my favorite mod [: the TRD rear sway bar. No pic but MAN is it great.

In August of 2008, I became a Scikotic and was hooked up with the help of getting my Tein H-Tech springs installed. Sorry, no before pic.

In september 2008 I gave myself a bday present [: my Megan racing catback exhaust! Pics will come down the post when I talk about the newer mods.

October 2008: I got the Dr. Isotope air diversion plate so I can put all my stickers there [: no pic tho. BTW I neeeeed a Megan Racing sticker! I messed mine up trying to put it on /:

I also got the Greddy rear strut bar in october. Picture of it on the last pic.

November 2008: 6000k HID's. I love them. Sux when I turn them on and they're two different colors, but they fix themselves in like 15 seconds lol. Pics later in the night set.

Early December 2008: My first crash. I hydroplaned into a sidewalk and messed up the lip, bumper and fenders (not to mention all the grass that was and still kinda is under the car). I had a few vandalism scratches from keys and eggs from earlier months so I made 1 vandalism claim and 1 for the hydroplaning (which wasn't my fault, it was from some dude who hydroplaned into my lane).

I got like 2 grand and went to a great shop in East Gude Dr: Victor's AutoBody Shop. They're great! Got everythig fixed and a new paintjob [: and he got me an extended lip spoiler for free!!

While the car was in the shop I got the Seibon Caron Fiber VSII hood. I sent it to the shop and helped them install it the last day it was there (late december 200.

I didnt get to wash or wax the car until last weekend and took off the 2 grilles from the sides and reinstalled the OEM ones. I also painted the tC emblem and put it in the top grille. Night car pics to show off the CF [:<

I want to be finished, but a new $2000 turbo, $1200 rims and a few other litle mods are calling my name.

 

ur gonna need more than $2000 to go turbo.. and rims should make it look a lot better too..

 

Wait so..until the last few pics I thought that was a BCP? Now its a FM? I cant tell lol. Looks good, not too much of a fan of the blue painted interior piece, looks cleaner with a black paint job. Also the chrome grill looks cheap as hell. Other than that, looks great.


Please, dont turbo an auto. Why? Cause its an auto. You step on the pedal and you get a little more vroom. Sounds like fun. Yay.

Save up. Dont get cheap $1200 rims. Paint your stockies for now.

and the turbo is 2 grand but then yea, the install and tune is more. It's this shop like PTuning that just made one and is selling it cheap for start to people who are modded and are going to shows. Not really sponsorship tho. I've driven an auto turbo tC, and its wayyy better. not nearly as good as stick, but I didn't wanna deal with a DD stick. laziness takes over. And i want these used iforged rims theyre like 1800-2000 new. They dont really look cheap. You must be rich lol.

Id seriously think about going turbo on your auto. Half the fun of driving a turbo car is controlling the car with the manual transmission. Auto will be just pushing the pedal down and...yeah thats about it. You can use that money to get other mods. Combine the $2 grand with the $1 grand to get some nice Advans or Volks.

well i did get extra points at a show for having different grilles than everyone else (black). and i dont ask people, they just come an tell me. they cant just be nice if they dont know me. you know?

cf looks just ok in pics but i love how it looks in person. other scion owners said upfront they liked how it all looks black and then you pass by it and all of a sudden the weave follows you.

and the company who made their turbo is not in ebay. theyre just tying to get known. its just that my friend knows him so his friends got dibbs first.

the pics doesnt completly justify the looks of the tc as you would see it in person, and its a scion, why follow the crowd when there meant to be different. most people are giving suggestion which many tc's already have like volk wheels or same grill not that volk is are bad but its been in many tc's as it is.Just keep what your doin aslong as your satisfied with it eric. keep the tuning goin. btw what would our scion name be if we followed ea. others opinions to look the same as each others car? .. thats what honda tuners did and look how most turned out, just an exhaust tip and they called it a day .. I know you guys know better then that.
