but we're talkin bout toyota not chrysler....check da toyota cars tell me if they use more then 1 shade of a color on a particular model(except azure pearl and indigo ink)....but anywhich way having 2 RS 1.0 in red doesn't make sense.... yellow makes sense in my eyes

 

It may not make sense, but the rumor is not just made up by somebody, it has come from Toyota. Chances are, it will be red, but it doesn't have to be the same red as the xA.

 

Flawed reasoning.

tC comes in Silver Steak Mica and Flint Mica. Its basically silver and Gunmetal which is a dark silver.

It also comes in Azure Pearl and Indigo Ink, which is basically a light blue and a dark blue.

A bright red would fit in nicely.

ON the other hand though, after taking a look at the scion site the xA RS 1 has been officially annouced and its red, so the tC probably won't be.

 

light colors like yellow and white seem to attract more bugs. i dont know about you all but i would rather not get swarmed by a million mosquitos while trying to get into my new car.

red would be better IMO

perhaps a nice forest/hunter green would be nice too.

i agree with the red looking like crap after a few years. allmost all true reds are a flat paint... meaning there is not metallic to them.... no depth. flat paint will fade and lose its luster faster, same thing with black. i'm sure that's why toyota's been going with the "black sand pearl" paint on more and more of their cars because it is a metallic black. so unless you wash and wax the car weekly and never let it sit in direct sunlight for long periods of time and never let it see rain, it will look new for quite a long time.

Red, that seems interesting that they would repeat colors.

 

It also seems that the options on the other RS models have been ostly cosmetic. It seems unlikely that they would do so much to the suspension and ride. Of course, the tC has standard moonroof, so that's one option they can't add like with the xA.

 

Here's a quick photochop of a possible red tC. Hopefully it wouldn't look like this but be more rich and bold. I know it sucks, but it might give you a rough idea.

Other than yellow, which I wouldn't buy, I can't think of anything. Perhaps they'll do something more substantial than just a paint job.

My vote: springs, performance seats (lower for one), foglights, mudguards, and a chirping door lock.

 

even though I'd never buy one, I think the tC would look nice in yellow..... IMO red is a little too blah for the tC

 

Incase you dident notice on scions website the RS 1.0 is a xA in "absolutely red" check it out for yourself. I've heard nothing about a red tC.

 

Drop springs are already available and I don't see TRD going lower. Seats would be cool, leather or performance but somehow I don't see us getting that for a $1000 RS kit. Mudguards are available, its only a matter of time till someone does fogs and a chirping door lock? It would be nice, but kind of trivial for an RS. Besides a lot of people seem to like the silent lock.

Personally I'm pretty set on SW, but I might switch if the RS has some decent options, isn't banana yellow and is available before I buy mine. I'm guessing the wait for an RS tC would be somewhat excessive though.

I love yellow, but I think I'd get sick of it after a year or so. Red would be awesome too, but I think I'm happy with my black. It's the color I'm least likely to get tired of.

 

ahh after the rs2.0 in red I would think a tC in red wouldn't have that impact we're all hoping for...thats just my thoughts though....

tC in '1E3' Phantom Grey Pearl would be the shyte!!!
