Fawking POLLEN!
Anyone elses cars COVERED in pollen?????????
Mine is filthy because of it, and it seems like the biggest waste of time to wash it because I know that in 2 days, its going to look exactly the same!
Damn not having a covered garage to park under!!!!!!!

Then invest in a car cover, haha.
Call me crazy, but I even cover my car IN the garage so it doesn't get covered in dust/dog hair. I've maybe washed it 3 times in the past year & a half. Mainly because the shop in my sig sucks & my paint's still wet, but regardless, car cover...doesn't even need to fit perfect. You can get one for around ~$30.

That would help, but at the same time I am in and out of my car 20 times a day, and that would be such a pain in the ___! lol
That and people at work/gym/school would look at me like I was a moron.

The pollen is fine enough that I dont think it would scratch.... and if I used microfiber?????
but that doesnt account for any sand that may be on it.........
Maybe I will just wash the damn thing every other day and be done with it!

We get alot of dust in AZ, especially during the windy season (now)
I cali-dust my car once a day at the very least, so not too much accumulates. If you dust it off once or twice a day your car will stay fresh n clean for a good while.
california dusters ftw
disclaimer is it WILL cause mircoscratches, but if you have a decent wax coat it won't cause much harm. If you had an expensive paint job (like kisskiss was supposed to get, lol) I wouldn't smear dust into it with a duster.
But since it's stock, and your car is silver, go for it.

Just collect some dust, throw it on your car, & rub your finger along it, & tell me if it scratches.
hint: it will.
yeah there are two BEAUTIFUL dings in the passenger side door and quarterpanel because the people at my place of employment are incapable of grasping the concept that we are parked close together and that by swinging their doors open with all of their strength will inevitably cause damage to other peoples property... so it will be painted again eventually....
Dad paints cars so I am lucky in that respect!

heck yeah! A post i can relate to!
pollen is like hell! i wash my car in the morning and its yellow again 4 hours later!
went to houston this past weekend, wasnt nearly as bad as tyler!
luckily were getting dumped with rain right now, hopefully it will put the pollen to a stand still for the next week!
all the pollen being washed off the boat and other cars in the driveway left a big yellow ring around the puddle at the end of the driveway
