so im trying to get onto merge onto the highway in slightly heavy traffic, i needed to get over because there was an exit coming up that i didnt want to take, i take this route often and i must say i can be tricky in heavy traffic, but then i saw some dude driving a white tC with aftermarket rims and taillights coming up next to me, i look over at him and ask him if i can cut in front to get out of the traffic, he slows down... signaling me to go, so, i go and as i turn into the lane he speeds up nearly hitting my car and blocking me into the lane.

so now im ____ed to a drop a gear and just cut some dude off (my B) anyways he gets behind me and tailgates then tries to race me... im like "dude we are on the same side.. haha"

but owell not everyone has respect for other tC drivers.

You should have hard core brake checked him for that ___ move. Yeah I give fellow tCs more leeway, but most of them a dumb and don't realize that I am a fellow tC; too busy talking on the phone. I was mad the week I let my brother use my car while I am away on business he is calling me and telling me how cool tC owners are and how friendly they are. He had like three tCs roll up next too him saying "hi" in some way or another.

 

DUDE I FRIGGEN TOLD YOU TO GO AND YOU WAITED!! SO I JUST WENT....and you shoulda raced...whatever ill find you next time.

it was cleaver, but anyway the guy i had an encounter with was a douche, and just so everyone knows, if you need to get on to the highway, just put your signal on and ask. and if some one does that to you, just let em in.

Some chick did that to me once in an AP tC. There was heavy traffic and I was trying to merge in and she wouldn't let me. So I bullied my way in and she flashed her highbeams at me. So I shot her the bird out of my sunroof. ^_^

i dont know what it is... but the tC community in the I.E. ....is there one? every fellow tCer i nod at looks at me like im on crack and/or will totally ignore me.....most likely because they think im on crack...must be the bcp/gold rims

tc's always try to race me and when i dont race them, they usually try to run me off the road

I was kind of excited about being a part of this community, and when I'm on SL, I see it for the most part, but where I live (Northern VA) there is none of that on the road.

Now, my buddy has an '03 WRX. NOT an STI, not manual, but just a 4 door blue WRX w/ stock everything. He'll let me drive it every once and a while, but whenever we pull up next to another WRX, whether it's completely built and totally awesome, or another stocky like his, there was always an exchange of pleasantries. A nod, or a smile or something. I get these whacked out "why the f*** are you looking at me? glares if I try to do that in my car.

I have come to the conclusion that the only way I'm going to have this kind of comradery is if I buy a bike. Will probably have to wait till next year though
