well i have a slightly modded 2006 rs2 with 6800 miles on it. if all goes in my favor i will be trading it in for a 2006 350z.

mods- panasonic touch screen HU- $1000
injen cai-$250
exhaust-$500
window tint- $180
python alarm system- $500
kaminari hood- $525
rs1 lip kit- $500
street glow- $200

any input on what i can expect for trade in value would be great. thanks guys

 

i would recommend taking all of that stuff off. the dealer isnt going to be giving you any extra money for it, and will actually give you less since it is modded.

I would say you could get around 14k from the dealer if you take everything off.

 

really? thats quite depressing. any tips on how i can get them to up the price of the trade in, or lower the price of the z?????????

 

like i said, strip the car and bring it to get appraised bone stock. You have to figure the dealer is going to sell your car for 1k-1.5k than what it bought it for.

I got a little less than 13k for my 05 tC that had 15k miles on it, bone stock. You should get around a little more than a G more than i did.

 

check out kelly blue book that should give you a real good estimate of what you can expect. Since you have a rs2.0 you'll be getting more then if you just had a regular tc. I doubt the mods would bump up the price.
