A Few Questions :P
So Whats the three " 3 " on the automatic transmission for?
On a automatic If i put the car in neutral and rev it up and all of a sudden put it on drive will it run off? or nothing will happen? unless i gas it when i put it to drive?

The 3 is used mainly for climbing inclines so the tranny doesn't shift into 4th where the gearing might not be able to clamp the wheels hard enough to combat gravity. Basically, the numbers mean the top gear that the tranny will shift to. In D it's 4, in 3 it'll only shift up to 3 and not go into 4, in 2 it'll only go up to two and in L ... or 1? Yea...
I had a Nissan dealer that was desperate to sell me this loaded Altima SE(Nav, Sunroof Leather, but it was an automatic) try to tell me that moving the gear selector from 1-2-3-D is the same and just as fun as driving a manual. If only the guy hadn't been so adamant on trying to sell me a car, I probably would have put an order in for an SE-R, but he was only interested in selling what they had on the lot.
