I have been a member here for 377 days and all 377 of those days, I have wanted to get a tC.

I can finally say that I am getting one at last! I put an order in for an '06 FM tc today and I will find out Monday how long it will take before they get one in.

When I finally get it, I will post pics in the "im getting/I got a new tc" thread, but I just wanted to share my joy where more people can see it.

I remember first hearing about the car and looking into it. I became hooked on it then, but i knew I was still a ways off from buying one, so I didnt have the "itch" too bad.

Now that I have ordered one and was told it might be a months wait, its killing me!!!

It took me a year to decided to do it, but it was SO worth it. No regrets whatsoever.

congrats. i was in the same boat as you last year. i was signed up for the forum and wait the countless months till the day my parents and i place an order on my tc. nice color choice!

 

Buy it bone stock at first.

Buy some door sils, s2000 antenna, trd springs to drop it about an 1" or so, maybe some tints.

After a year or two, (wife permitting) a SC.

But for now, just enjoy the new car once it gets here and not baby it. I plan on putting some MILES on it

 

I know the feeling bro... congratulations...I just bought my car a couple months back... I still get the butterflies every time I wash it and it glitters.. I have a flint mica too... and man... does it shine... I think the fms can be the most shiny/glittery... good choice on colors... be carefull though cuz it catches dust very easily... I wash my car every friday.

but yea, I love my FM but haven't been washing her due to the crappy weather... soon as midterms are over my car's been needing a long over due wash and wax

Dude I'm with you on that one cuz my FM tC should be coming in this week!! It's an FM too!! Man for the longest time i've been debating wether I should get a SW or an FM and to be honest, the tC looks good in every color but the FM is just a unique color. Every time my friends ask what color i'm gonna get, I can't explain them the color! I always say "Flint Mica" and they say "what's that?" i say.."well..it's hard to explain, it's kind of charcoal but it has hints of blue and green in it, i dunno!" lol

Anyway when I get it, I really wanna just tint it, drop it with trd's and put an s2000 antenna and i'll be set for a while!!

Congratulations... I just picked up my tC last Friday and all I have to say is that I'm in love with the car :-)

 

Good going bro, join the tC community. I'm about to have my 2 year anniversary with my tC and i'm sure you're going to do the same.
