Default Finally decided to mod the TC

How's it going everyone?

Well I finally decided to start modding my car. My main goal (for now) is to get better handling/suspension. I've been reading and definetely using the search thats why this is my first topic. I've decided to go with H&R coils and a progress sway bar. Actually I've already bought them and now I'm just playing the waiting game. I bought the H&R coils from Dezod West, unfortunately Joe said that they were out of stock and may take 2 weeks before they can ship it out to me. As for the sways I bought them from Dezod and Paul being a great guy looked into it for me and and said he'll get it shipped asap. As far as the rest of the suspension parts for the future I'm looking into getting DME f&r struts and maybe some wheel spacers. Does any one have the above setup? If so how do you like it?

On another note has anyone heard lately from Joe @ Dezod West? Only time I heard from him was when he called to tell me that the H&R coils were out of stock. I pm'ed him here on sl and sent an email on the dezod west contact, also left him a voicemail, but nothing yet. I'm just really anxious to get my coils especially when I saved up for over 6 months for these bad boys.

i would hold off on the strut bars. they dont really do much. I would put it towards tires or brakes.

thanks for the input tc232, I totally forgot to mention tires. Thats definetely part of my suspension upgrades, just need to do more research (don't know if I want to stick with the OEM's or get a new set of wheels.). Main focus as of now is definetely suspension. This project was suppose to have started late 05 lol.

If you don't need tires right away, hold off until you get all the other parts first. Then start looking at tires.
If you stay with OEM 17s, look for a 225-sized tire as opposed to a 215. GL.

Will do sw09, but still playing the waiting game, I'm wondering whats going to come in first. BTW I placed the order for the sway bar yesterday and the H&R coils was during the Memorial Day weekend but they were not in stock so dont't really know when I'll get them in.

The progress sway & endlinks are worth every cent. paired with the coils; you'll love every curvy road.

IF ur looking at Suspension..

I suggest the Progress Rear Sway Bar & Ingall's 4-Point Rear Brace...Makes a HUGE performing difference!

Then Get a GOOD Spring & Strut Combo...I have Progress Springs w/ Tokico Struts.

I also have the DC Sports Front Strut Bar I think its More Cosmetic than Function though.

Get GOOD tires as well!

im running on Greddy front and rear struts, h&r spacers, trd springs, and trd rear sway bar. Its really nice and noticeable gains on cornering and performance wise. I love it. Im trying to look into some coils as well. KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED =]

Thanks for the input TeeCizzle, i've read that with the Ingalls 4-point brace that it requires cutting and modifying the "foam piece" (dont know whats its called). Did you put your foam piece back on after you installed the brace?
