Default Finally Did it....Traded the box for the tC 56k Warning

I picked it up yesterday and I love it. 2005 BSP 5-speed, leather/suede seats, leather door inserts, leather center console, steering wheel.

I traded this:

For this:

Windows are getting tinted today.

Nice car. Just curious, how much extra did the leather cost you? To be honest, I didn't even know they had leather available for the tC.

$1395 for everything. It's not an option through Scion. It was an option through the Dealership. I'll try to get some better pics later, those were taken this morning right before I went to work.

Well, it has to be tied with Scion somehow. I don't think dealers can replace the interior with their own stuff. Can they?

Yes they can. You just haven't been to the right dealers. They can get you aftermarket wheels, window tint, sound systems, custom paint, graphics, interior, exterior, etc.

Yes, they can and do. Just look at the SET "Special Edition" tCs, they are not built nor sanctioned by Scion, but they're allowed to modify and sell them. Many dealers (mine included) will make custom audio stuff available that comes from local audio shops.

That leather looks really nice. It's probably from Katzkin.

Welcome to the tC clan, love the leather, very sharp. I can't tell from the picture but does it have the "tC" stitched in the headrest? Hope not.

No, there isn't anything stitched in the headrests.

DJ, I was expecting that.

Mark, how are you liking yours? It's tough getting used to the power change. No more Hampster on a Wheel.

Yeah, it was nice....BUT think about how my tC will look after this summer. I'm by no means going to leave it stock...just got to wait and save some $$$ and then the tC modding will begin. It will look nicer than the box after this summer...trust me.

No bodykit at all on the xB. The fenders are like that on all of them.

well, at least you're still drinking Dr Pepper so you haven't lost ALL your taste, yet.
