Finally got the TC back - Repaired
Well, after almost 2 weeks, we got the TC back last Thursday evening and spent 2 long nights repainring the rest of the interior damage. The thieves did some major damage, but turned out great. Turned out well enough that she took her TC to the Ackerman Scion show and placed best of show.
Well, the prize $$ will go towards paying for the DAMAGE.
A couple of notes.
First - Our door locks are Lexus style. Thieves waste their time trying this path, but they will do major metal damage and half a dozen hard to get handle parts. Any thieves reading this - just break the damn glass. OK!
Second - Avoid aftermarket windshields. We tried one and it looked like carnival glass - bad glass. Yes, our factory windshields are $900 and aftermarket is $450, but not worth it if you can't see very clear.
Third - Locating parts for our cars is a real pain. You would figure after a year on the market - more factory parts would be available instead of waiting for the ship to arrive from Japan. Don't be suprised on the wait.
Fourth - Getting the locks done to match the key is not real cheap. The lock is encased and only a good locksmith can do this. Another wait.
Fifth and MOST IMPORTANT. The Scion alarm does keep them from taking the car, but that is IT. Aftermarket with page alart is the ONLY WAY to go.
As I promised, the video is set up and working pretty cool. I should get it installed this week - weekend and give you all the run down. Today I should have the smaller metal case housing the hard drives ready today.

Congrats! I'm currently waiting on replacement of my rear glass panel, hatch glass, and paint on the rear hatch from a glass break myself. Parts are exceptionally hard to find right now, I got lucky that they had a hatch glass, apparently.
Damn, my parents suck. My dad doesn't own a 7 second 1/4 mile Charger, and he sure as hell isn't putting monitors in my seat rests, let alone a turbo!
ScionDad, either you're gonna have to adopt me, or I'm marrying your daughter! kidding or course
Glad the car is back, and congrats!

Like I said. A full scholarship is worth more than what I'm doing with her car. She kept her end.
