Default First Aid Kit

I noticed on the Scion.com website that it mentions "First Aid Kit" as one of its safety features. Did you get a first aid kit? What does it consist of?

Um... it kinda sucks. It's in your glove box in a little leather zipper case. I saw it and i thought "pretty nice!" and then opened it up. It turns out the leather case is maybe 1/3 first aid kit and mostly a thing to put your manual in. The first aid kit mostly has band aids, scissors, tape, some antiseptic, etc. Not much. I threw a bag of ibuprofin in there as that's the only other thing I'm likely to use.

Kinda sucks...what did you expect? It's for minor accidents. How many times have you/we needed and a bandaid or antiseptic and none was to be found. Bam, thank you Scion/Toyota.

I think it's cool...even if it means I lose space to store important stuff with the manual(s).

From the perspective of someone who works in healthcare it does suck. I wouldn't really call it a first aid kit.
I always buy a kit for any vehicle I own. I also usually put more in those kits then what they come with. You never know what you may need or when you will need it.
Better to have it and not need it then the other way around.

They could have not given us anything at all though...
After all, they did sell you a car, not an ambulance lol

What did they really give us? A couple bucks worth of stuff at best?
Wow. Are you really impressed with this? If so perhaps the sun rising and falling is a wonder too.

I don't think the Scion dealer on Guam gives those first-aid kits (at least I didn't get one in mine). Oh well, I can always by one at the store or put one together anyway (or call my friends at GFD).

It's not so much about the cost of the supplies as the attention to detail - I'm a little dissapointed that they advertised "first aid kit", but I'm happy that crap is in there. I like to be prepared, even if it's just to keep the blood off of my upholstery.

Don't be an ___. It's comments like that that get ____ started. What I was referring to was not many models in our price range throw in that first aid kit. BTW, the sun doesn't fall or rise. Take it easy

My god. It's not as if it was an an additional feature of the car that added money to the sticker price.

Sure, the tools are a little cheap, and it's mostly band-aids and gauze. So go fill it up. Make a run to Sav-On!

What's wrong with you people?

Sorry about the rising and falling. That is how it was seen/referred to for thousands of years.
I should have stated something about the earths rotation about an axis causing the perception of the rise and fall of sun, stars and moon.
Get over it. Just some simple flaming. Don't take it so seriously, kind of how Toyota thought about our first aid kit.

I had a kit just like it in my old car. Self made, mainly it's a boo boo kit. Just like how I keep a roll of TP, they do come in handy at times.

The sun sets, it doesn't fall. Who goes to watch a sunfall?
