Just wondering what would be a good first mod? I just got my TC about 2 weeks ago and I looking for a good first upgrade. Something beside an intake though. I want to wait for the AEM ever though it might be awhile. Also My Dad works for Toyota so I get all TRD stuff at cost. Im thinking maybe lowering it or short shifter something along those lines.

lower it or Ground effects, or both, cheap one would be to tint windows, it is fast and easy and makes any car look nicer imo.

 

tinting is nice but it's illegal to do the side windows in CA. And if u just do the hatch and the little side windows it looks ___.

 

My first mod was the radio(cause I drove the tC without the radio going home from the dealer...factory was still getting shipped)

I did my Valentine One radar detector the day after I got it first thing in the morning (hardwired into the car, starts with ignition) and then I just ordered a DC Sports Carbon Strut Bar and I plan on getting tints and the Secret Weapon intake next week. Probably will get a K&N high flow filter for the stock box today, since it will be a direct replacement for the supercharger airbox once the TRD is out, and I can use it for the next week b4 the CAI arrives, and have a high flow filter right away before they make a CAI for the S/C

Beg to differ. I have the hatch, the little sides, and both sunroofs tinted.

It looked REALLY DARK when I first got it, and I was worried I'd loose visability out my sunroof at night, but it actually works out great. And no more forehead tans

 

Haha. Same here. I went almost a week without a radio, and it sucked!

 

damn almost a week...that 30mins drive going home from the dealer was hell enough(good thing i had a spare radio)how did you survive almost a week without a radio...(well alteast you can hear your engine revv)

Tint, OEM Ground Kit, Real Lip Spoiler, and TRD exhaust. All being done the same time!

 

My first mod is gonna be an S2000 Antenna or Silverstar Bulbs

 

im looking to tint it out then lower it, make it badgeless, shave the handles and put in a short shifter. then when the motor is nicley broken in the real fun can begin...

i live in CA and its legal to tint the front sides, but only 70% or lighter. In my c ase, i just did the rear and little sides cuz i dont want the cops on my ___
