Default First Road Kill

Well tonight driving back from the movie with my girl . I hit my frist aniaml on the road. First time it has happened to min in almost 10 years of driving (wow that just made me feel old).

I was dring down the highway and I see the white streak from the should of the road. It moved so fast i had no time to reach. I just felt my front passenger tire go over it. I think it was a possum or a big ___ rat.

its dark out right know and i don't have a flash light to see if it left any blood or guts in my wheel well.. but i 'll check in the morning.

sorry about the rant i just wanted to share with everyone..

Dang, I must suck at driving! Let me find my list...

-Raccoon (tried to avoid, ran back the other way)
-Low Flying Bird (chasing another bird, across the road; went right in the center of my bumper)
-Possum x2 (late night for the both of them)
-Ostrich (I know, Florida...)

None of them on this car yet! Yay!

...and j/k about the ostrich.

My best friend once ran over a puppy when I was with him, during our high school years. He didn't see it though, it popped out from under the car in front of us.

I hit a bird off the center of my front window doing about 70mph. Poor bird never saw it coming. It hit off my windshield, feathers went everywhere with some otherstuff....and then proceeded to bounce off the car behind me also. It was a mess considering it was a big bird. Anyways, no damage on my car and the windows safe, but the car behind me had some cleanup to do. The bird ACTUALLY SH*T HIMSELF WHEN HE SAW AND HIT MY CAR..(right on the window).

I hit a racoon about a month ago driving at night. First one ran in front of me and i hit the brakes, then it ran off so I let off and another one ran right under my left front tire. No blood or guts were left behind luckily. But he was a biggun.

A few years back I was riding shotgun in my buddies 79 VW bus down a dark wooded dirt road and a bat flew straight into the windshield. Scared the hell out of us!

Please don't go out trying to make road kill everyone! I feel bad whenever I see road kill esspecially if it's a cat or dog. Today I was driving and saw a kitten that got ran over partially, I felt horrible because I could see it's tail going up and down still.

LOL I was right by my house when it happened. Rural area so no cars (or street lights for that matter). I'm just glad it didn't crack my bumper.

mm, I ran a small dog over in Mommys car....worst part is the dude was WALKING HIS DOG without a leash on the street. I stopped a block down and ran back...the dude was crying and I had to pick up the dog off the road and into the grass. The poor thing breathing there slowly dying...it haunts me to this day. Damn, that one second changes everything. Had I not taken that yellow a mile away that woulda happened to someone else.

fateful thinking but hey makes you appreciate your things more (I.E. my own dog)

Two months after I bought my car, hit a raccoon at 60 mph. The 'coon ran right at me when I was going around a corner. It's head hit the air vent and cracked it bad. Felt like I hit a big pothole. I stopped at a store to see the damage and was surprised my bumper was not demolished. The little grille piece was missing tho. So, the next day we went out to the spot and found the grille and the raccoon was laying dead on the side of the road. This things was almost the size of my dog!!! That's my boyfriend's size 12 foot in the pic:

Body shops around here quoted me $600-700 to fix it, so I waited to find the right lip, but none would have covered it up. I bought the JDM "inspired" fog lights on eBay and now you can't see it, yay...

I hit and killed a deer doing 30mph with my bronco barely did any damage but that deer went sliding down the road a good 50ft. I then checked my truck and the deer pooped on my truck right where it got hit. Since I have been driving the xA a bird flew into me front bumper and died. Also one morning I was going to work at 3 am and I had both my eyes closed because I was tired and was rubbing them just as I did that I heard a loud boom and I was like WTF?! So later in the day Im going home and I see an adult fox in the road. oops.
