Default first ticket for mods

I was driving on the highway today and passed a statey driving in the right lane. he changed 2 lanes to get behind me and lit me up. He pulled me over for my tint but was gonna let me off until he got back in his cruiser to run my license and saw that my tails were tinted as well. $35 later id say im still pretty lucky for getting off on a $250 ticket!

Sheesh, our tax dollars at work huh. I thought law enforcement was meant to save lives, and protect citizens, not punish good hard-working citizens for petty enforcement. I'm an ex-cop, and some of us in my old station do not like guys like your state trooper friend there. We see our job as more important then pulling people over for window tint or exhaust.

Why did it only cost you 35 instead of 250?

Man I have the smoke tint on my headlights for like a year, maybe longer, and drove right next to cops---they never got me. That's when I was in Diego though. Now I don't have anything.

No *hit.
I was so ____ed off - and my tint was LAME!
I see 5% all around every day and they just keep on driving.
I told the cop (when I had to get it checked after removing) that it was BS and he almost didn't sign off on the ticket.
Morons.

on tuesday i got off from a tint ticket and a no front plate ticket. i pled not guilty and found so much evidence to make them think i no longer had the tints and i got off on the plate one too. i saved a couple hundred dollars.
Tint ticket
i got pics of rs1's that where stock and used these pics and told them i removed the tints myself and the bought it

no front plate

ordered a new custom plate and told them the registration comes in before the plates do. registration comes in 2-4 weeks before the plates are sent out. so i got that dismissed too.

the headlights arent a problem unless they see its covering the reflector then it might be an issue.

Mine was the full headlight, like in my profile. They were smoke overlays, not as dark as people are doing their talis though.

Just mod tickets...i've had my tC for about 10 months now. So far i've had

3 Exhaust tickets

2 Tint tickets

1 Suspension ticket

1 No front license plate

1 improper registration(IT WAS A NEW CAR AND DIDN"T HAVE IT YET)

2 Speeding tickets

1 improper lane change

Only 2 tickets stuck in court. Good old Fairfax County VA LOVES ME. When they see my car coming, i swear they get a hard-on.

Here is just a handful...i have more in the glove box

Perhaps it's good that you are an ex-cop, it sounds like you didn't do your job very well if you didn't want to enforce the law.
