can you get more pics of your hideaway plate?

 

if the corners weren't painted and tail lights were stock, i'd like it a lot more. was never a big fan of stealth... or the wing

looks good, not a fan of the wing though. i'm not into the 08 headlights, but they don't look bad smoked. with what you have i would shave the front bumper smooth again. good idea on the hide away plate.

 

did he cut his grill for that to hide in there?

Ya, it took me some time to get the guts to take a dremmel to the grille

 

so here's my newest mod. LED gauge and HVAC swap done by sean of LEDmod.com. Sean did a great job with the gauge swap, and he was fast too! Highly reccomend his work to anyone looking to get their gauges and HVAC leds swapped out.

Sorry for the noisy pics btw...the gauges are so bright they tripped out the ISO sensor on my camera!

I had sean do all white LEDs so i could use transparent vinyl to change the look of the gauges in the future. Do you think the white is too plain? I may change up the gauges to red lines with white MPH and RPM numbers in the future.

should i leave the gauges just the way they are or...change the lines for MPH and RPM to blue? i have blue and red transparent vinyl im itching to use...

 

Personally I think it looks great. It isn't in anyway tacky, it is very clean the way it is.

 

hey FLINT. did sean do everthing by himself, or did you just buy the conversion kits online and he installed them?

sorry just been real interested in doing the exact same thing since getting the D3 as well.

 

hey thats the exact same setup i wanted to do!!! lol

 

well sean sells the install kits to people who want to do the conversion themselves, but since i was fairly local to him i made the trip up there and he did the install for me.

i do reccomend that you have some skill with a soldering iron and the right equipment to tackle this project. the leds and resistors are flippin tiny so you gotta have steady hands!
