SOB, after 4.5yrs of owning my tC. i get my first door ding tonight. its pretty ugly too, its scratch and a dent. mother f&^%^$%$^%&king SOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know its only 1 but jeez, ive had my tC since June 2005 with no dings. the one time i park close at my friends apartment complex, i get a ding! ill see if dry ice does its trick but ill check it out more tomorrow in the sun. ____ED!

 

oh I am not saying you shouldnt be mad, i am still mad about mine lol. My first one happened at school, it was more like someone ran a bookbag across my door. Then got a nice chip of paint taken out when i took it to the dealer. Last one happen in florida, my friend was driving and we stopped for gas and he hit the little barrier thing with the door. That left a nice 2" line dent under the handle.

 

i got a rock chip dent 3 weeks after owning the car...i was very mad...i still am mad

 

oh forgot about the dude that was mowing his lawn and shot a rock out that hit my car and left a chip and dent. I kind of laughed at that one

 

^ yeah same thing happened to me..guy was mowing the lawn and one of those spikey things that fall of trees nailed right into my door..also have one from the g/f opening the door against something so I have a scratch on my handle..couple other ones have no idea where they came from haha

Oh and my front bumper is scratched and gouged to ____ right where the hood and bumper meet..because my grandfather thought it would be a good idea to set my exhaust manifold there while trying to get the o2 sensor of..I'm still pretty ____ed off about that one...

 

The dent isn't that bad but I still might try the dry ice or air can. Idk if its in an area where I can knock it out from behind the pannel? Still sucks!

 

I think the dry ice only works for larger dents. I think carbonxe tried it on smaller dents and it didnt work.

Do you have some of that heat shield tape on the hood? That manifold looks like it would be pretty close to the hood, dont want that CF hood to fade early.
