Floor Mats
I thought this was a topic before but I was not able to find it doing a search, so forgive me if it has...but
Are the Floor Mats worth the $145 for the TC or should I just get the some inexpensive ones from a auto parts store or a Walmart? I hate to pay $145 for them but I do like that fact they have clips to hold them in place. Can you buy other floor mats that won't slide around? The ones I have now are a pain because they keep moving and get a big crease in the middle that cause problems when I drive because my foot keeps hitting it.
Thanks

I just visited partznet.com and noticed they had the Scion floor mats cheaper than getting them at a dealer. I have never been to the website and don't know who they are. Has anyone dealt with them before, are they worth using because they have them for $79 for the 4 piece floor mats and $31 for the cargo mats. So if I buy both then it would be $35 cheaper than the dealer or I may just buy the 4 piece set for $79

I visited longo scion at paid close attention to the mats and the cloth part of the mat came of the rubber. There is rubber and then cloth on top with rubber edges. The cloth came of the rubber edges. I dont think they are worth $145.
I ordered my XA and didn't get the $120 mats, I ordered my $45 Scion mats on http://www.toyotaparts4u.com - I'm waiting to get those before I order the cargo mat for like $35. They are the original scion mats, apparently for much cheaper. Get any Scion stock, no options. After reading through the forum for several hours, that's the overall advice I keep getting. The car alarm apparently sucks, so if you're getting it in your XB or TC stock - I'd advise getting another alarm that actually works. All other options are much cheaper on ebay or online.

I think the factory mats are worth it 100%.
1) Look good and fit perfectly with Scion logo and are high quality.
2) Seem to not slip at all. This is extremely important when you have to have a steady surface below the clutch. I used to have a truck with a 5 speed and cheap floormats. It was a nightmare pushing the clutch and having the mat keep slipping all over your left heel.
3) Include a perfect fitting cargo mat.

Partznet is very good. I ordered a bunch of parts there and have spent thousands there over the past few years. Best place to get dealer parts for any of the cars they sell. I've spent probably 4000 on my mitsubishi from them.
I like the Scion mats. The nicest part is that the carpet insert is removable, leaving you with a rubber mat with a lip (very similar to the Weathertech mats above.) I will probably take out the carpet parts during snowy times or if I'm going to the beach or something. My salesman didn't even know about this, so I demonstrated it to him. He was impressed.
Mats are the only option spec'd on my car coming in, but if I don't want them, I don't have to take them. I'll either have my dealer match Partznet's price or buy them direct from Partznet (along with most other accessories.)

***UPDATE***
Weathertech has mats for the tC now and it's $90 for front and rear.

Anyone have any PICS of the CARGO MAT? I ordered the FloorMats off on partznet.com and I LOVE them. Worth every cent in my opinion. Didn't get the cargo mat since I was not sure I really needed it. Just wondering how it looks and how it fits in there? Does it lock down like the driver mat at all?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I just order floor mat the my xB from www.mcgeorgeparts.com. I paid less then 55 dollars for them. It a great site for Scions.

I went the cheap route and bought black floormats from walmart... They fit fine every where else EXCEPT THE DRIVER SIDE. The footrest by the clutch is preventing the mat from staying flat, and now its just a bunched up mess. I finally gave in and ordered the OE floormats.
