Foglight theft
I woulda pushed the panic button. Kids kneeling down in front of my Grill right in front the horns. Oh man. They'd have a nice ring in their ears after that.
I did that to some kid at my high school who was sitting on my car once. He was talking to some chicks sitting all gangsta on my car acting like it was his. Shoulda seen him jump up and start panicking when the Horn started sounding haha.

I would hate to go from being the victim to being the criminal, but I think it would only be natural to get physical with someone trying to steal your pride and joy.
Any lawyers in here?

This also depends on where the crime is taking place. . . I know that an intruder (in Texas) can be shot. . . no wonder the home theft rate there is SO LOW.
I usually carry a host of non-lethal weapons on me, to legally take down people. It avoids any legal trouble. And believe me, a combination of pepper spray and a taser is very fun to extract revenge with.
For the record, I had charges pressed against me for Assualt and Battery, when my friend was assualted for NO REASON. I intervened and stopped the fight, and was able to put him into a lock, but supposedly I "broke his arm." Funny, as the guy likely broke it himself as he kept struggling. Anyway. . . I had to foot the bill and take a hit on my record. Fortunate enough for me, I was a couple months from turning 18, so my record was wiped clean afterwards.
Legally, as a citizen, you can use citizen's arrest, but you are only legally allowed to detain someone, without the use of force. The use of force is reserved strictly for law enforcement. But again, this varies from state to state.
HAHAHAHAHA! Too bad you can only shoot one shot and it has to be at night.

They even had removed some bolts from beneath the bumper since they couldn't get it out.
The funny part was, I walked by and asked if they needed a hand with anything, they said no, they're just trying to replace a bulb.
So far my I've seen someone in the act trying to steal my wheels, foglights, and the car itself within the last 6 months. And my car looks almost complely stock. I'm glad this alarm actually works.

Thats a pretty good story, but i'm curious tho, what kind of alarm will even let u know someone is trying to take something off ur car, like ur grille, foglights, rims, etc.... Are there sensors installed in different parts of your car to monitor acitivity or did they just trip something else?
