Default Front Brake - installation/removal

Not sure what area this could go under- mods, please move to appropriate area, thanks..

On the tC front brakes. When removing the caliper to get to the sliding pins, do you have to remove the brake pads or can they stay in place while the caliper is removed?

You can remove the caliper without affecting the brake pads. They will remain in place while removing the caliper.

oh good news, didn't know if they were connected to the calipers. So then I can remove the sliding pin, re-grease it and install it without disturbing the pads..

Thanks spect2k3!

No prob bro. Yea, the caliper is free floating, I believe is the term. All that comes off with the caliper is the brake line.
