Default Front emblem removal?

I searched and couldnt find how to pull off the front emblem. Is it possible to do or will there be an oval left there. I thought i saw some people here with out the scion emblems. How do you do it?
THANKS!

I took mine off to paint it. I just used some dental floss to get it off. If you do not put the emblem back on then there will be an ugly oval left behind.

You just need to pull it off. It's inset into the black "oval", so I'm sure how much floss or fishing line in going to help. Just pry it off.

And to answer your question, no you cannot remove the mounting point of the logo. It's built into the grille.

Those people you see without the Scion emblem on the front have aftermarket grills or just a DIY grill.

i took a flathead and got up inbetween the emblem and grill and pryed it off.
but yea you'll be left with a flat black shape of the scion logo and it looks funky.

you could do what the clown who lives down the street from my parents did and just remove your entire front grill. It looks great with his green LED washers and cut springs.
