Funny Story about a riced out civic
#21
Thanks for the laughs, jrv.
There was a totally riced Civic at the last apartment complex I lived at. Never did figure out what all that 'stuff' was for (phony knock-offs, removable steering wheel, no back seats - just SPEAKERS, red car with white bodykit that probably made it a foot wider and two feet longer than stock, some sort of wing-thing that looked like it came from a Stearman biplane, enough gauges to confuse a shuttle pilot, assorted multicolored lights inside - outside - under the car, etc.).
He could only come into the lot using one driveway 'cause the thing was so low it dragged on the other three - and on all the speed-bumps. Oh! Almost forgot the twin 3 inch exhausts. Sounded like a Harley - almost...
That thing musta had a huge battery (maybe duals, eh?) 'cause on cold days he could crank for half an hour before it would finally start...
I was amazed that his 49 foot-pounds of brute force torque could turn those twenties...
Why do they do this?
Oh! And the stickers - I almost forgot the stickers! All sorts of vinyl patches, stickers, stripes, lists, most of 'em in Japanese. I wonder if he even knew what they said?
