Dont worry man, karma. What goes around comes around. Those f**ks who stole your rims will be driving down the freeway one day, and then two semis will hit them at the same time and then it'll rain hail and smash their windshield and their faces, but they survive with injuries, and the day they go home from the hospital, the doctor informs them that they have an STD.

Props to you.

Default Wheel Locks

How effective are wheel locks? And are they universal, or do I have to buy them from my dealership specifically for my tC?

I see this type of thing all the time, because It's easier than stealing the whole car. A guy I know around here had it happen to his XB right in his driveway. That sucks but it's nothing new to me. You gotta outsmart the thief

After reading this thread I went ahead and ordered wheel locks from my dealer... Then 2 hours later I was talking to my co-worker in the parking lot and noticed that his truck is missing one lug nut on each wheel. Guess what he said - "I had these - whatcha callem - locknuts. Somebody stole 'em."

I guess I'll be sleeping outside, hugging my shotgun.

I park on an inclined driveway, and I think it would be a little too much effort on their part to do that to my car. I think I'm going to get an alarm soon anyway. Also, if you have the right tools with you, you can take off a wheel lock. Chances are, if someone is bent on stealing wheels, they'll prolly have the equipment. But it will slow them down at least.

Nope. any 12x1.5 (I think) nuts will do, as long as they fit the holes in our wheels.

i ordered wheel locks from the guys who sold me my zenetti's, so it came with a specially made key..you can get wheel locks at auto parts stores, but thiefs can go to those places too, so I got a viper alarm put in by some guys who make custom alarms for high end cars..i figured 450 installed was pretty good considering my wheels are worth 2600 and my system is worth 800 or so., plus im getting a dvd player installed..so Im not playing any more games with these punk asses.

Default Online Places

Dang, thats rough. I'm definitely getting wheel locks. If tC's get as popular as I think it will be though, lots of people are gonna have the keys for the tC wheel locks. Anyone know of a good place online that sells wheel locks with custom keys?

Dang man, sorry to hear that. I had my vehicle (Pathfinder) stolen from my driveway late one night. I didn't bother turning on my alarm because I assumed I lived in a nice neighborhood. I was wrong. They found my ride across from town with missing wheels and stuff. I now turn my alarm on, no matter if it wakes up my neighbors when a thunderstorm roles by and my 9mm LUGER is waiting for them the next time they try to steal. After that, I'll bust out with my samurai sword and there won't be no more hands to steal with.
