Default Getting 1

I am thinking about getting the tC. I need some help though. Are there a lot of mods that are available for the car like the xB because I love modding my cars. Also, I know its a 2-door and I am pretty short (5'6-5"7). Will I be able to find a compfortable spot to drive. Thanks

You should be fine and there is plenty of stuff out there to mod it up. What color you are looking at getting?

Thats another thing I'm not to sure of. I am thinking of white. Maybe Flint Mica. There are no "extreme" colors like for the xB, and they stopped making the black cherry . I will probably end up getting the RS3 white.

I'm only 5'6" and I still put my chair all the way down.... but I leave my seatback at a ~70 degree angle.... but there are a few ways to adjust the seat so there has to be a good spot for you! My gf who is 5'1" can find a comfy setting, and I'm sure you can too!

Thats good lol. My dad had a SL 500 Benz coupe, and I could hardly see the hood of the car lol.

In the tC, you definately wont see the hood unless youre sitting really really high and erect. The way the hood is slanted, it's not meant to be seen. On the ther hand, a Merc SL (especially the old ones) have a long fairly straight hood.

yeah, I always wondered how the 6'+ folks sat in the car! I'm short and I dont feel the seat is low enough. Perhaps if the car didnt have the panorama roof, that would help. My previous cars were a Civic and a Del Sol and those both had a lower seating position.

i'm 6'3" 230 pds, and i'll admit i was worried, but i like it, fits like a glove for me. everything is perfect reach from where i rest my left elbow to the steering wheel, and my right elbow to the shifter and a perfect pedal position.

Yeah height def won't matter for u. I'm right at 5 foot and I can get the seat adjusted enough to see fine...you won't have a problem. As far as mods are concerned....oh boy...as u know with modding xb's, it's a slippery slope of fun. Almost worse with tc's though because with all the new turbo and sc options you can really have some fun! Anyways, welcome in advance to the tc side of things if you choose!

Another question. Some pics I saw of the dash I saw the shift *** with a bag, and then another with no bag. Is the no bag only for manual or both? I'm cool with having the bag, but it looks so much slicker without it. Thanks.

you mean shift boot? All the manual transmission tC's come w/ a shift boot. Only automatic tranmission tC's do not, but some folks change that.
I would only get rid of the boot if my car was a track only car. In everyday use, things can fall into there and either get dirty or worst, cause you not to be able to shift.

Cool. I am thinking getting it in white, and putting blue LEDs on the headlights, with black rims with that white outline near the tires. *drools*

Made for short people???? I am 5'9" and cannot touch the pedals with the seat all the way back and low. My 6' friends have no problems with it, and even mentioned how much more room it has for a small car.

As for mods, there are some good ones. Check the pics in my sig for the interior mods I do as an example. There is plenty to keep your wallet busy :D
