Getting my 07 TC in 2 days
From another post on Scionlife:
I got an e-mail from my Scion sales rep.:
Team Scion,
I wanted to inform you that the TRD supercharger for the Scion tC
will not carry-over to the 2007 model year.
· TMC changed the design of the exhaust manifold, so the supercharger
simply won’t fit on the ’07MY vehicle.
· TMC also changed the Engine Management ECU so the TRD software needs
to be re-mapped.
· TMC has re-calibrated the emissions to meet ULEV II standards – again
requiring re-calibration of the TRD engine management software.
Counter-Measures
· TRD has already re-designed the affected components and are working
with TMC/Scion to receive a production vehicle so they can confirm fit.
· A TRD Engineer is travelling to Japan within the next couple of weeks
to work with TMC to re-map and re-calibrate the ECU Software.
· Launch for 2007MY vehicles is targeted for later this year. Updates
will be provided as we near the launch date.
The current TRD Supercharger still fits the 2005 and 2006 MY vehicles.
Information available to Dealers and customers via ScionASG.com and
TRDUSA.com will be updated to reflect that this product does not carry-over
to 2007MY.

2005-2006 160 hp & 163tq and 2007 161hp & 162tq i dont think the redline is going to increas in the Compression is going to be different so i dont think you can put a C/S or a Turbo cuz the ECU will be different

im to late but thank you for find this for me
let me just start off saying i hate car dealerships... About 2 months ago i was going to get the 06 tc but then they wouldnt give me a lot for a trade in. So i sold my car privatly (making an additional $3000 then what they offered) and now i was going to get a tc but i have been reading about the 07 a lot and I want to get the 07 but i can not get a straight answer on when they will actually be available.
Scion's site has no information about the 07, and one local dealership told the 07 is not even released yet and won't be until 5-6 months from now (supposdly he contacted scion for me and found this out... i just talked to him today the dealer that is)... but then i see people like this post saying they are getting them this week or whatever date they say. I do not know who to believe. I tried another dealer and they told me to keep calling back they have no information.
IF the 07 was really being released right now then why is there no information on scions website and why is it everytime you ask questions on scion chat about the 07 they always say they have no information? I am starting to think people on here are really getting 06's thinking they are 07's or the dealerships are lying to them. Or all the dealerships around me are retarded and dont know there. Does anyone have some hard evidence that the 07 is really being released? like pictures paperwork i duno anything that will calm me down. Thats the other thing that makes me think, if someone is getting the 07 in 2 days or w/e why have we not seen any pictures of it besides the spec version. Usually new car pictures and info are released before the car to get people hyped up and sell more cars..
this is just a lot of stuff that does not add up to me... anyone have any answers?

I ordered a Nautical Blue '06 Scion tC last Friday. I went in to the dealership today to ask about the '07 model. He told me that he had found me a car, and that it's the '07 model. It's sitting in Portland, OR right now. Should be here in about 3 weeks. The '07 models definitely do exist, and are in the U.S. He showed me the paperwork that listed the '07 models on the way to his dealership. He did however confess that he had not heard any changes between the two models, and that the price had gone up $100 from the base price.
