Getting sick of it!!! (Rant)
In late March/early April I bought some brand new Tein S-Techs from a sponsor. I did alot of research, read many reviews, liked the pics of the springs on the TC. 3 weeks ago I put them on my car. They are not as slammed as everyone elses!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, the car still looks 100x better then stock but I was expecting some tuckage!! WTH Tein? Did I get a bad set? I believe that 3 weeks is enough time to settle. I knew I should have bought the Racelands. Sorry for the rant, but to anyone expecting a slammed look with S-techs look elsewhere! I'm sick of seeing people with sportlines that look lower .
P.s. Family Guy is awesome!!! Ok Im done.

hey bro ummm.....i was talk to a few friend it seems the new batches of stech don't sit as low as the old batches i could be wrong in this but this is what seems to be going on...i got stech as well and compared to stock springs........big difference but i felt like it could have gone lower but i'm happy right now put some pics up let me see
idk how new my stechs were since i got em used, but theres barely any (less than an inch) wheel gap between the fender and tire (stock rims n tires).... thass pretty much where it should sit... if u want to get the tuck look then get fatter tires? idk
i had the same problem with you ONLY for the rears and i believe it was because of the bump stops. (i might be wrong). But the overall drop of s-techs is the lowest out there in the market and looks very good. Like the others said, if you want to be SLAMMED, you shouldn't have gotten s-techs. I don't know how you define "slammed," but if your definition of slammed is no wheel gap, save your money as of right now, sell those s-techs, and get coilovers.
wait til your struts blow it might look slammed after that, i always thought coilovers were required for slamming. how do u slam springs? cut a ring out? o well imo dont slam it
LOL. No. They're not low. Only YOUR Racelands are low.
Anyway. You have three options: Save for a good set of coilovers. Sell your springs that are half the price of Racelands, then get stuck dealing with numerous issues. Or keep what you have and get bigger wheels/tires.
I think Sprint springs lower -1.75" front and rear. S-Techs go lower.

the first set they made where 2.6" front and rear but only very few where made, the ones they currently make are 1.75" front and rear. i haven't taken any current pics of my car but i'll look through some pics
