Default Getting a Tc Soon, couple questions...

I am gona buy a Tc within the next week or so and i was just wondering if it was worth it to add the TRD stuff or if it would be either cheaper or better performance wise to get after market stuff?

I used to be in the same boat as you. I still don't have my tC because I am waiting for the RS2.0. But I'll be the first to tell you that get your tC bone stock and add aftermarket parts later. The TRD stuff are pretty good as most people who got them are very satisfied with them, but TRD parts are way overpriced. Try to get them on online stores for much cheaper and take it to a shop for installation. That is what I will be doing plus ask for some people to help me install them.

Thank you for the quick reply, I think thats what im gona do. I think the only options im gona add is the door sill enhancements, Better rear view mirror, fog lights, and lip spoiler. i was thinking about doing the ground effects kit but i just dont think it makes enough of a difference in the way the car looks for me to spend a grand on.

I went crazy with dealer-install accessories when I built my tC on scion's website, but thanks to a lot of members here telling me the smart thing to do. I am just getting a stock tC. If you haven't done so yet, check out these web sites and compare the prices with the dealership, you'll be amazed.

Don't try to decide here - go there, look, and buy one.
Just do it - I didn't even think about color until I got there, and picked the FM...love it.

hey, if i were you i would get a bone stock tC and just put the parts later..as for the color, make sure it is what you want. because i was in the same boat. i either wanted black or white and i wasnt sure till i saw the car, black was beautiful so i had to get it. however i kinda regret it only because i have to wash my car like twice a week for it to stay shiny when my friend with a white tC washes his like every oil change and his always looks good. so its up to you and how much time you have...but black defiantely looks the SEXIEST when waxed HANDS DOWN

39 pages of FM owners say you're only almost right. FM is the best when detailed!

1.White
2.Silver
3.Black
4. Flint Micah(which i have rite now and everyone who sees my car loves the color, but I wish i got white or silver)
