Default Going to put a deposit down for tC...any ideas?

Hello everyone, I'm new here...

Im planning on putting down a deposit in the next few days for a 6-8 week delivery around christmas time. I want a flint mica 5 speed, with subwoofer, security, spoiler lip, ground effects kit, fog lights, maybe the auto dim mirror (if my monthly payment allows)... Any suggestions, things I should expect, anything? What about the security system, good/bad deal,

Thanks, Nick

I like how i can just have the car with the sub that is fit to the rear, i have the slightest idea of hooking up anything to the car and i don't want to mess up anything by trying, and if i got a better sub, have a custom box made and get it installed wouldn't it run me about the same price if not more?

I agree with dreamz. Take the money on the sub+security and spend it on something like the TRD springs and sway bar for better handling. You shouldn't have any problems finding a good car audio shop that can hook you up with a better security system and sub for the same amount of money, if not less (depending where you live). If you get the audio system and alarm from the same audio shop, they should even throw in a 10% discount, if not more. You should never have to pay sticker price for that sort of stuff, and the good shops will go out of their way to get you the proper carpet, etc, so I wouldn't worry about looks either.

I would write up a contract in your words that clearly states that the deposit if FULLY refundable AND will be returned within one week of request. Have both the salesman and sales manager sign it. I am currently dealing with Burien Toyota. Even after I had them sign a contract they are trying every loop hole to not refund my money. They first tried to get me to sign a deposit form that said "non-refundable deposit." When I refused to sign it they scratched out the "non" and pretended that they hadn't noticed it. Beware. Also go with a dealership that aren't jerks because you will have to deal with them for the duration of your warranty.

I would also get a different sub, you could get a better (2 10 in subs),amp, box, wires, install package at a audio store (2 10 in subs) for about the same price.

Pros- better sound, you can take the subs and box with you when you sell the car.

cons- takes up more room if you get a standard box, but then again how often do you use your entire trunk space. You still have the back seat, and can remove the sub box and leave it at home if you really need to haul something large.
