No you will br perfectly fine. Nothing needs to be done before you go. The car is very comfortable on trips even the back.

It'll be fine. I have ran mine on 6 650 mile trips (stopping only for gas), one 750 mile trip (stopping only for gas), and one back and forth, 400 mile each way trips all done in one day. It does great, pretty comfy. Even had a rear passenger on one of the trips. I usually get around 27 - 30 mpg on the highway running around 80 mph. Just take some good tunes and you will be ok. I will say that on the down and back 400 mile each way trip the exhaust noise started getting a tiny bit annoying (trd), but that is because I was getting cranky and delerious (4 hours of sleep the night before, then got up, drove to KC from Minneapolis, stayed for 45 min and drove straight back). I like the way it performs on long trips. And as far as wear and tear you are better off running it on the highway anyway.

Wow, they have a new album? Thats surprising. I saw them at the family values tour in 1998. It was one hell of a live show.

I'm doing a 230 mile (115 miles each way) trip in my tC tomorrow just to pick up a rear body kit and projector headlights for my Paseo. lol. I only have 1500 miles myself. Taking it because it has the most storage with it being a hatch. Don't expect to have any problems except dodging idiot drivers.

rammstein makes good music but they do some really weird s**t on stage.

back on subject i think the back seat will be good for your one passenger to just recline and relax. how much stuff do you need to bring in the car or is everything coming up with the parents?

Yeah i agree. The coolest thing, however, was the sparks flying out of the drumsticks. I was thinking to myself "man, i need some of those".

05FMTC,

I would bring a can of fix a flat, and buy a super compact 12v (cig lighter) air pump. Can be invaluable on a road trip. Shouldn't cost you more then 25 bucks and can limp you along to where ever you can get the tire fixed.

1. Wash and wax the car to protect the paint from bugs and other small debris.

2. Check tire pressure to make sure it's at its normal pressure

3. Keep a cell phone charger for your car.

About the fix - a - flat. ... dont use it! You are better off driving on the spare. Fixaflat not only is horrible for your tires, but tire shops HATE it. It raises more safety concerns when changing the tires.

^^^
"Slime" is a better choice if used properly. If not used properly, it will ruin the wheel balance though.

Best bet is to actually use the spare tire.

Cell phone, Water, Tunes, and Candy. I love taking my tc on road trips....I am jealous...Actually I have only done one road trip and it performed really nice.

The only thing that kinda sucked is a rock took a chip out of my windshield. I have already fixed it for free, no big deal.

Just watch out for those big A$$ trucks carrying rocks and dirt...They are poopie...

Watch also for pot holes....Those can really screw up your car...

Besides that be safe and have fun most of all....
