good bye tC.... *pics*
Traded in the tC.. I've had my eye on the WRX for awhile and decided to take the plunge. The difference in handling (and power, obviously) is amazing. If the tC is your first "Spo-com" then its a fun car to drive but once you step up to the platform that the Z, WRX and EVO's are on, its a completely different ballgame. In a way I miss it but I gotta say, I'm lovin' my new subie. Anyhow, I'm sure I'll check in from time to time but this is an awesome site with loads of helpful info.
Yup. Gotta love that snap-your-head-back turbo pull when it spools up.
Oh, and being able to leave everything that's RWD or FWD at the light spinning their tires when they try to take you from a stop...I've found that to be pretty entertaining too.
I'm still boggled on how I can beat an SRT-4 but not a WRX on the streets... I mean the SRT-4 has a bunch more power and has a great 2nd gear (if used right), but still the WRX is still much faster.
I'm lookin at the new 08's... I actually like the new look. Don't enjoy the hatch, but think the sedan is pretty sharp looking.
They've done a lot to upgrade the interior as well... But I dunno if I want another car or an upgrade to an SUV... thinkin FJ or 4Runner...
Would love to see some pics...

been thinkin of stis and evos too, nice cars but in addition to higher payments, parts would be more expensive... Im sticking with my lower class tc and do mods where the fun is..
Note to anyone.... Never buy an STi used, and if you're buying a WRX used make sure you get a warranty.
These cars are generally beat... hard.
Guy at work has an 05 and he's already had to replace the clutch in it (not warranty) and now is having some tranny issues that may be stemming from a turbo leak. The drive train stuff is covered thankfully.
You just to need to make sure you do your research whenever buying a car that typically is ran very hard compared to other used cars.
And someone said the WRX is a negligible upgrade when compared to the tC... the WRX is made to handle extra boost and be worked on. The tC was designed to be a N/A engine and although you can mod it to withstand boosts, you're going to have to spend a lot more money to net the same results as a WRX comes stock.
