Hey gang ... I'm a reporter in Houston and did a goofy little story on the iPhone price cut yesterday. I did something I've never done by driving my own car as part of the story.

It's a boring car, really. Nothing but leather and tint done to it.

by the way... I opted to use the scion to not look like a total tool... I have a 98 boxster that is my fun weekend car in the garage. "hey look at me! 10 year old porsche!" hahha

Funny stuff!!

Apple is discontinuing the 4GB iPhone already. They are going to come out with a 16GB iPhone and keep the 8GB one around as well.

One of the reasons I plan to wait to get an iPhone is the network. When they upgrade the EDGE to the 3G, I'm all over it.

 

By the time it jumps to 3G it'll probably be a whole new product... I would think the phone would have to be a little bigger... etc. I've been satisfied with the edge... and in Houston.... wifi hospots pop up all over.

About my $200... I actually did get it back through American Express.... god bless the Gold Card... I knew that $90/year was good for something.

Haha yeah. I'm far from hard news most of the time... my where tv "news" is going these days :-P

 

edge has been getting the same speeds of 3g, i dunno why people want 3g so bad, it sucks battery like no other.

 

my gfs iphone data speeds are faster then my treo 700wx (EVDO) speeds, in the same area, going to the same site...

the iphone/ EDGE is fast...

 

when the iphone came out, htey upgraged the edge network, they started from the west and moved east.

tho of course they upgraded new york and chicago and the big cities before the smaller ones.

 

lol...that is awesome! nice lil subliminal plug for the tC! the camera moving around made it look unprofessional. u should try getting some money back again. 2 firends of mine were able to get 100 and 200 dollars back and they got their iphone a long while back.
