I dont think Vipers have come with ABS standard until recently. That was one of the big critical points taken when the car first came out.

Are you going to mod the Viper now, so it will look like the one on the show? It was such an ad-whoring show (a wet dream for Dodge), but it was fun. I wanted one of those cars so badly!
yeah, if i got an expensive car like that with a rediculous amount of horsepower...i'd want abs...bit of a deal breaker...and a life saver...

Congrats on the Viper bro. I'd love to get a Viper except out here in LA, my insurance would probably be 5k a month!

the only thing about the jp usa kit i didnt like was the crappy install that the body shop did. they really jacked it up. the kit was fine.

as far as abs, they started adding abs to vipers in 2001. mine has abs. im not sure of hte 0 to 60 but i know with a good driver it runs 12 seconds flat.

i thought of many other cars before this one, but you see gto's all the time. where i live i have only seen 5 vipers in 24 years taht i can remember. they are not common here. i dont plan on modding it as of yet due to cost, but eventually i will perform small things to it, maybe even boost it.

dont get me wrong drax, i loved my tc. it was great. and honestly the viper does not accelerate that much faster then it. a little bit. but the viper definitely grabs traction much quicker. i am still impressed at the tc's ability to hold the power of the turbo kits that are out there and i might actually build a tc eventually.

oh and my insurance is 65 per month .. insurance on my tc was 53 per month. thats what helped me make the final decision.

Funny how that works, huh? Mine isn't that cheap (age), but I still get a cheaper rate on the tC than I did on the ECHO! Go figure.

does urs have traction control? I drove an srt-10 and the thing wouldnt turn on the wet track... I went out drifting in the infield and my passenger couldnt stop laughing... those cars are FUN but have a mind of their own..

congrats man, you deserve a nice car after what u went through with that install. Have fun!

there is no traction control, but there is a skip shift control. not sure how it works but if your in a turn and you try to put the car in 2nd it will go to 4th. there is a part you can buy to disable it but im not going to be racing it so i could care less.
