x2 on cops not lifting any fingerprints....they didn't do it on my car when I called in after my old car got broken into a few years ago. The only thing you can do is file a police report.

I would hassle them. my buddy hassled the crap out of the fuzz when his car got broken into. they didn't want to, but you call and _____ at them enough... they will do it

I agree with you that they should do it, but if you do get them to come, what says they're actually going to spend their time trying to find the bastard? Odds are, they'll go, see the car and think "omfg he has mods hes a street racer, not helping", write a report, then leave.

one day my brother woke me up with "what did you put on your hood?" i was immediatly up and awake and responded with " WTF!!!" so i ran down stairs and out to my car, where someone had puked all over my hood!!(oe, before carbon fiber) and all on my windshield!!! and i live in an area that people dont normally just drive by, so someone did this on purpose. also, every halloween we get egged, so my mom has been nice enough to let me park in the garage on halloween, but when they came this year they threw eggs from the top of the hill that i live at the bottom of and they hit RIGHT where my car was parked. fukin bastards!!

Called the cops and they said there is nothing they can do about it,no witnesses,can't press charges.I did called my insurance and they will cover the damages minus deductible.

 

I suggest just fixing the paint. A lot of people will go out and two-tone or something...but I think if you did that, the person might find more reason to key it again...

That's pretty good, most of the time it's $500. Hopefully you can find a good place to get the paint done at, so you won't have the full $250 coming out of your pocket..
