I waited at my dealer for about 4 weeks for a black 5spd. allocation comes and says I'm second on the list, which he once said i was the only black 5spd. Well I just wait around figuring its normal. So I see a black lowered TC...My dealer had NO club about TRD Springs, and/or pricing. This guy referred me to the other dealer. I call em, and they know about the springs and say they have 1 black one no spoken for. So I give em my credit card info...go get my $500 deposit back from the other dealer, who also never returned my calls! Then I go to this dealer, and they helped me out and are very friendly. And even told me about a 66 month payment plan instead of 60 months, which drops the price like $20 a month more! So all in all, i'm very happy. Just wanted to make sure you guys check around! Goodluck, and I cant wait! Finally, 7-14 days and its mine! Now I gotta debate, do I drive it a few days w/out the springs, then get em put on so I can see the difference in handling?

I had built my xB online so I knew what I wanted. I gave them the sheet and they located one very close in Orlando. They immediately traded an xA for my xB and I had it the same day (I am in Jax so it is a 2 hr drive to Orlando)!

I guess they didn't want your sale very much - their loss!!

 

I did the same. The one dealer I did work with first was good, but they just had no stock. So, I went to another dealer and they had a my Flint Mica just sitting there. This was over a month ago when demand was really high.

So, got my deposit back, and got my tC the next day. I had nothing against the other dealer, they just did not have much stock.

 

I was on the verge of wanting to get my deposit back, until I got a call last night that I was on top of the list of 6 people for a flint mica 5 spd, and that one was allocated :-D

 

I took my deposit back from 2 dealers - they all told me that black 5-speed with nothing on it is at least a 2-3 months wait. So I called every dealer in the state and ended up driving just 40 miles to pick up my car with zero wait. Was happy as a pig when they told me they have it

 

haha yea. my dealer is just in a crappy location and a small lot compared to the other place I went. Plus since I'm dealing with the owners daughter, she has to be good at helping out :-P and she is a cute girl too! but anyways, I think I mighta just got lucky that when I called to ask about the lowering springs, they happened to have a black 5spd on allocation not spoken for. Figure I was 2nd on the list of the other place and that guy will prob not even get his as quick as I do. hehe. i am in Akron, Ohio (cleveland area) and when they say its 7-14 days to get it from bay...is that pretty accurate ? I'm hoping more liek 7 days heheh.

 

same with me...went to the deal closest to me...nothign in stock...he lied and siad 2 weeks. til i got here and did more research....after an accident in my old car...needed a new one FAST! found it on Thurs, picked up on Mond!
