Default Ground effects kit installation

Sorry about being a little uneducated about this but I was interested in the ground effects kit but I'm not gonna be able to get it as an option with my car. Is this a factory option or dealer option? Also, if I were to purchase the kit at a later time, say from a website like partznet, would i be able to bring it back to the dealer to have it installed? thanks.

The dealer price should include installation. You might want to check with them and see how much it should be.

Yes, you should be able to buy it elsewhere and have your dealer install it, but it might be cheaper to buy it from them and have them install it.

if you just wanna install it yourself go to partznet.com for cheaper.... its not really hard to install it. the front and back piece seem to be glued on or clipped???

i have heard that you have to put some cuts in the body to install it. if you are comfortable doing the work, I say go for it. If not, any body shop or even the dealer can do it.

yeah, actually, there are little plastic clips that hold the kit on the underside of the bumper, and also little plastic screws. I can't speak for the front/sides, but on the back there are six or so holes for the kit to stick through the bumper, and another six or so plastic screws. It is a super pain in the ___ to remove, but I imagine it's not hard to mount. The mounting hardware seems to be designed for quick, easy installation.

I got ahold of the install pdf for the kit. You actually have to dremel holes in the existing bumper to put the clips in to hold the kit on. When I get back in town I can email that to people if they want it.
