I totally don't understand the point MotorTrend was trying to make with that video. There was no point even having the GT-R in that video.

 

the opening intro when the two tc come in to the screen was sick!

Ya, saw this ages ago as well. Wish I knew the specs on gushi's new motor though

 

The point of having the GT-R in there was to show that the stock GT-R can do just about the same thing that two totally (different) custom Scion tC drift cars can do. Of course the GT-R costs like 70k; I have no idea how much $$$ has been spent to build the two tC's.

 

In the video, they explicitly said the GT-R can't drift, so they put it up against cars that can?
