Guesses on what will be the first things to break...
Hi All,
I'd like to preface this post by saying that I love the Scion tC and am currently waiting for my Black Cherry Pearl to come in.
The only concerns I have (though not serious) are that there are two interior parts of the Scion tC that seem like they might break easily: the cover for the stereo and the plastic shades for the moonroofs.
Is anyone else concerned about these items or any other parts? Just curious what others think. Thanks in advance for sharing any opinions.

and the sliding covers on the "vanity" mirrors and the cover to the change compartment.
I don't think its going to be much of a problem for me... i'm probably going to leave the stereo cover open 95% of the time. The sunroofs i'll probably be opening and closing frequently, it does seem a little cheap but I dont think it would be a problem.

i usually dont break things in my car but... the first thing thatll probably break for me is the glove box. i have a bad habit of overstuffing the glove box with napkins and the manual and car papers and stuff.
imo... its gonna depend on the owner of the car and how he/she takes care of it.

shades
Stop and picture the roof for a moment. Where would solid shades go???? hmmmm?
Venetian blind style retractors were the only option.
More tourque and interior space than the RSX, at 5K less.
The Civic? Please......
The GTI? tC has rear wisbone suspension and reliability
The Mitsubishi? tC has better handling, better handling and better handling,,,,
Any other competitors???????
Not one person has mentioned the knee bolster airbag.... otherwise standard ONLY in the BMW 7 series.....
Name ANY other car in or above it's class w/ this list of standard features for 16,400..... I dare you.
but remember...not just available, STANDARD FEATURES

I love my new Black Cherry demo. Drives like a dream, and the auto performs remarkably well. At speed, the car begs for more. And it pushes through turns like a rear driver. Love it.
The stereo cover is actually more sturdy than I thought it would be. And the sliding covers for the roof are OK. They may curl up a bit after a while, but the mechanism feels pretty solid.
tC in Chattanooga at Capital Scion! Ask for Jon. Ready for test drives!
I think that there is one in Memphis as well at Covington Pike. Ask for Thomas there. He's cool.
I'm ready for questions, everyone! LATER
