k ima girl and ima just add to this, YES some of us can drive lol, i for one am one of them lol, i do believe that most girls have no idea what the hell there doin when there driven and are so freakin easily distracted by ANYTHING, i esp love the ones who put on mascara while there driving, so i agree with sum of u guys why u dont let your girl drive lol, i let my bf drive my car every now and then, cuz i know he really wants to get a TC in a few months when he has the $, i trust him wit it, but i still cant relax when he drives cuz hes more of the "girly" driver in our relationship lol if you catch my drift, so u gotta cut some of us gurls a break! cuz i sure as heck know how to drive! i have a decal on my back window that says"Pssst....you just got passed by a girl" with tinkerbell next to it! and my license plate frame says "eat my pixi dust" lol, just thought id share that!

I was behind a girl in an Explorer with that. All it did was prompt me to gun it and leave her in the dust.

I had the wonderful opportunity to be a partner with my girlfriend in Drivers Ed. You know how they have the brake wired to the passenger side as well? Basically, I told her when to hit the gas, and I operated the brake and steering wheel from the passenger side.
Why? Because she cannot drive at all. She reacts in two seconds, literally. Had I not done it for her, she would have hit every cone in the serpentine. She's 5'1" too, so she couldn't see in most of the cars available at the range.

Cliffnote: NO.

Even though I feel weird letting my girlfriend drive my car, I let her drive it nonetheless. She doesn't drive it like I want her to.

not here. but then again her lack of ability to drive a manual greatly helps that. :-)

I let my finacee drive it, but I make my girlfriend ride shotgun! :D But seriously, I let my finacee drive my tC; she doesn't push it nearly as hard as I do, and I taught her how to drive a stick anyways. She's a pretty good driver; I'd stack her up against any of your girlfriends any day!

I would give anything to get my wife off the phone in the car.
Manual transmission got me off the phone in my car real fast.

oh yeah try making a left turn, shifting, and talk on the phone all at once. all I can say is hard...this is probably why women don't drive sticks, they couldn't do their make up or talk on the phone. what a bummer for them...but a blessing for us.

Same here.

For those of you not married yet and in regards to this topic: once you're married, any future purchases from Scion will cease to be "MY CAR/tC" and be replaced by "OUR CAR/tC" especially if you are no longer using mommy and daddy's credit and inheriting your future spouse's excellent credit.

Here's a word to the wise, especially if you buy your next new car once you get married, if you buy a stick the wife will refuse to drive the car IF she doesn't already know how to drive a stick. She'll temporarily hate you for it but the royalty will soon increase as she realizes that the tC is only driven by yourself.

Also, on that note, if you ever buy any toy dogs down the road and don't mind bringing them along in the tC, get the black version of the dog since your interior is black; we first got a fawn pug and he killed my carpet. We just got a black pug and she'll be more than welcome to ride in the tC. :o

I'm a girl and the only time I'll let someone drive my car is when I'm drunk enough that I know I shouldn't drive.
