That's an absolutely amazing example of dealer inflation taken to an insane level...

I wish pure pricing applied to aftermarket profit as well, so that scion could tell dealers they could only take 10 percent or something reasonable on aftermarket installs.... even the highest-end vertical doors cost less than 1500-2000 installed...

These people should be slapped.

I saw that car when I was down there back in July, dont rember how much they were asking for it then, but I do rember seeing that the front of the door did not fit flush with the rest of the car. $3995 for lambo doors installed is dumb imo, but on the flip side you can take the car back everyday and how them work on getting the doors fixed.

 

Considering the dealer , HA I am not shocked they tryin to price it like that .

Vertical doors and suicide doors are 2 totally different things. Suicide doors open opposite of normal doors (hinge in the back, latch in the front) and vertical doors open........well, vertically. These guys are raping you on price and don't even know what they are selling.
