Default HAIL STORM!!!

So yesterday I was leaving work when it started to pour outside. I was scared enough drivng through the puddles because I just got a CAI.... but then, all of a sudden, it started to hail! Marble sized hail strated falling all over my car for about 2 minutes and there was nothing I could do. Lucky for me there was no damage (it's not covered by insurance if there is). Let's just say the worst sound EVER is hail hitting a glass roof.

What kind of scam insurance company do you have, that doesn't cover hail damage? Or do you not have comprehensive coverage?

Insurance varies from state to state and Jersey's is the flat out worst and probably the most expensive. I think State Farm even doesn't carry policies in NJ. Frankly it doesn't suprise me that he doesn't have hail coverage. Jersey isn't exactly know for hail.

Good point.. I grew up in tornado alley and live in Minnesota now, so I guess I just take hail for granted

I know around here insurance doesnt cover it, as it is caused by an "Act of god." we were supposed to get nickle sized hail the other day and i was getting ready to go to a parking garage. never happened though.

Considering that an insurance company exists to protect you from unforseen accidents, I'd say your company blows chunks. That's like buying a surge protector from a company that says "this surge protector will not protect your electronic devices from Acts of God such as lightning"... duh!

ok i'm calm now...
