Hard to get into first gear?

first gear doesnt have sychros...rev match and it should all work out. if it doesnt, just drop it off at toyota. you have a warranty, use it

Yes, it does. Read the manual.

Even so, just don't put it into first unless you're stopped or nearly stopped. Problem solved.

I do put it in first when i am going slow or almost stopped. IT was like 2 times it was hard to put it. Hasn't done it since. I am not worried about it anymore.

, if it didnt it would make that godawful grinding noise that you hear putting it in reverse before completely stopping, like 1-2 mph..... reverse needs syncros

Hahaha yea, it only took once for me to realize that I need to come to a full stop before putting it in reverse.
