The door locks are going. I have an idea that works and it looks better the the "door lock buttons". I am using the rear door hand covers off a U.S made 07 Toyota Camry. They are made with no lock cylinder holes. Im using two right hand sides. They fit too because I took one off a car at my work and tried it on mine. I do believe that the Carollas are the same also. Upside is that it will be seamless. The down side is that if the battery dies in the key fob im S.O.L. Its a risk im willing to take. Ill take some photos when they come in and I paint them. I know about the search bar but I dont like that thing.

my keyholes come in handy.

i tend to lock my keys in my car because of hte alarm system that locks all hte doors if they are accidently closed...even with the engine running.

so i pull hte key out of my wallet and unlock it then pull my key out.

 

If you look closely a wide range of Toyota models have the same door handles...

I ordered the caps through my work. I got them from an 07' US made Camry. They were like $9.91 a piece my cost.
