your trying to drive you 5 speed tc and feels so weird you cant feel the clutch or shift properly......well it happen to me i bought my self some really nice sneakers cause my other ones were all beatup and feels like i cant drive a stick with my new shoes on i guess im not use of it or new shoes has to be broken in.....

just curious how many out there found this to me a problem or its just me if it is someone can delete this thread

Yea i dont like to drive with my nike air force ones and my other pair of nikes they are too thick so I aways mess up. My favorite pairs are my adidas superstars and reebok classics, I can drive perfect with them

 

yea i had the same issue last weekend when i picked up my air force ones. feels wierd. kinda like you leg is going to cramp up cause you forgot how to drive lol. happens all the time ;)

 

I dont like to drive in certain shoes as well. I have several shoes I can drive in though cause I love shoes so i make sure they fit pretty snug and arent to big. I have 2 pairs of Adidas Goodyear Rubber driving shoes that I love to drive in. But I can drive with my adidas samba's and my other adidas indoor soccer shoes. I only buy adidas now cause they rock. But I still have a 2 pairs of nikes I were every once and awhile.

 

I got the same problem, I hate driving in my new Nike shoxs. I can barely feel the clutch because of how thick the sole is on them. I also hate driving in flip flops because the back of it always drags the floor mate.

 

when winter time comes and the boots go on my feelon the clutch is always off

 

boots = my fail

 

wow..i thought it was me but im glad its not....i normally dont buy new shoes only if i have too but i never though this woud be and issue....my only issue was the clutch and gas pedal....i just couldnt get it kept slipping...awell.....i guess you need certain shoes for different cars.....

but at least i know im not the only one out there..its the only reason i created a thread caus ei know there aint one like this here

I generally have on New Balances and have grown to drive best in them. But I don't do so hot when wearing dress shoes, boots, or flip flops (though I generally go barefoot instead because they always seem to catch my floor mat).

 

nike shox... i feel it all?? but i only wear shoxs.... soooo and it may be shocks but i dunno... but i think i just have the right timing down.. do you ever move your seat and can never get it perfect again...

thats another thing sometimes i move the seat by accident..then it takes me like 20 mins to reajust it..to get it perfect again weird.....i took my driver side floor mat out..getting in the way of the clutch..old shoes no flloor mat and i can drive perfect most of the time of im not lazy.....new shoes and a floor matt cant do it be lucky enough to drive with new shoes its a pain...i guess it just a matter of time to get use of which i cant wait.....hehe

 

hahahaha i feel the same way! I LOVE driving barefoot though it's great, until it gets cold. I never wear boots though. Nike 6.0's ftmfw!
