Have you gotton discount when you buy tC?

I bought tC without any discount, even 1cent.
Did you get discount when you buy your tC? If it is, how much?

I heard that many people got discount when they buy a new car.
someone discounted $3000+, but that is not a tC.

Here is no people who bought tC in my side.
I'd like to hear about your experience.

It should have been explained to you Scion sells all cars at the same price. Besides those gimmicky deals like "free tires for life" which means you have to do all your schedule maintenance at the stealership, there are no rebates.

No one gets discounts. There is very high demand for the car. A few people might have gotten free floor mats, but that's it! I didn't get jack ****....not even a hat...

Dealers are basically making just a few hundred dollars from the tC. Thus the no haggle pricing and no discounts. Now, if you go buy a $40,000 car, I am sure you could get a couple thousand off the sticker....

No one should be getting discounts. These vehicles have the "SCION PURE PRICING" which means advertised price is selling price. No discounts/negotiations. If a dealer threw in floormats or tires or something like that as a way to get you to buy after you said price was to high then they are going against what rules Toyota put out. They could lose their ability to sell these vehicles. Now if it was included in the deal from the very begining and EVERYONE who bought there got these things then that would be ok. It just has to be advertised.

I got mine with $400 off. One dealer around my area have no haggle pricing and posted discount price on the window and internet. http://www.fitzmall.com/index.asp . Select New, then Scion TC. Two other wouldn't give me any discount.

LOL nice joke about the nuke thing. I am working at a dealership, and im going to be getting apx 40% off the final price after taxes and what not, so with everything I want my tC is coming to apx 24k and with taxes im sure im going to be pushing 30k so im hoping it will drop it back down under 20k for the finaly price... I quit my pervious job, so I could work at the toyota dealership so I could afford this car haha, im an extreme tC fan!

Dealers can charge any price they want. (Otherwise it would violate antitrust laws.)

BUT they have to post the price on their web site and in the dealership, and sell at that price to everyone.

They are strongly encouraged to sell at MSRP, though, and there may be some incentive from Scion for the dealers who do.

Yah, be careful in what the dealer says. The dealer I got mine from said they would take care of the floormats for me, and take them off the price, but they did not. They said they would pay me back from them later, and nothing. So be careful if they promise "free" stuff to go you to buy the car.
