I was driving down the freeway, doing about 70, yesterday, and, while in 5th gear and giving it gas (not using cruise control and not coasting) I was trying to turn down the strength of my heater. As I was pushing the down-arrow button, my hazards blinked each time I hit the down arrow... glych?

 

Haha this sounds like something from a horror movie... lol

 

my hazards turn on when i change the song on my cd player. but thats because my palm hits the 4 ways.

 

It thought you were going to freeze to death, so it was warning you not to turn it down. If you turned it down too far.. it would have started saying "I dont think this is a good idea Dave.." And then proceeded to tell you its name was Hal and ask if you wanted to hear a song.



Now how many know what movie that came from? I bet the answers will make me feel old :D

mine did the same thing. so i called the scion help hotline. he basically told me to squeeze a fruit roll up between my cheeks and fart out a fruit by the foot.

^^ The books are even better. I have read 2001, 2010, 2069 and 3001. And Rama, Return of Rama and Garden of Rama by Clarke as well. All extremely good and explain the movies well.

I love Arthur C Clarke's stuff. I usually dont read a lot of science fiction, but the way he takes most of his futuristic stuff from the science and physics we know today is awesome. Not to mention he is a great writer.

uhh.. i get that alot... turning off engine and it does it... mostly because ohh.. you're grabbing a key that was the wireless remote on it?

pressed it perhaps? dunno... i really don't care.

 

The hazards switch is real sensitive, doesn't take much pressure to set it off.

Are you positive you're not bumping into it accidentally? I've done it while removing the key.
